860 Moldable Polymer Gasketing:
Remember when you were the apprentice and the foreman told you to cut a gasket for that old split case pump and it took you hours to mark and cut, let alone the time wasted looking for the right gasket paper at the right thickness? And what were the chances that roll of jointing had been sitting in the corner of the workshop covered in dust and gone hard? Maybe it wasn’t a split case pump, it may have been a gear box or a bearing housing, same problem waste gasket and wasted time. Of course first of all you had to remove the old gasket.
860 Moldable Polymer Gasketing (don’t confuse with Room Temperature Vulcaniser) doesn’t need cutting, never goes hard or stick to mating surfaces, can be used as thin as .13mm, and as thick as 6mm (great for uneven mating surfaces. Just apply a thin bead to one flange face, around bolt holes and irregular surfaces, then spray the curing agent onto both surfaces, and assemble. Full cure is 24 hours to 3000psi maximum. 100psi within minutes! Temperature limit to 260 deg C and excellent resistance to most chemicals. (Be sure to ask for a Safety Data Sheet)
860 Moldable Polymer Gasketing is cheaper than compressed gasket sheet, and can be applied in less than half the time it takes to cut a simple table gasket.
